ReVolution prefers any Innovative contents on Virtual Reality techniques.

...However, it may be little difficult to know what kind of contents will be innovative for ReVolution evaluation.

Size of installation

Basically, we don't limit about the size of creation.
However, of course we may reject a too big creation if there are genial small projects. Normal size of booth is W3m x L3m x H2.4m. If you need more size or special installation of projector, camera, illumination, etc... You should write it on the Floor plan.

How to write the description document? 10 pages document is a duty?

No, if you can write it in simple words, it will be better. You should include about technology, scientific points, artistic concepts, state of arts, how to demonstrate for the public, awards, references, etc... with pictures.

"Our project is already shown on the other conferences or expo, Can we try to submit?"

Yes, we can accept it but we prefer with new version specialized for Laval Virtual. Please note your improved points on your document and/or video.

"What is the aim of video? Is it obligatory?"

Video is a duty for submission, because of the jury committee see the all video in the first to know..

If you have some idea to improve your project for Laval Virtual, you can include anything that is not implemented now.

What are the differences in ''Invited'' and ''Welcome''?

The acceptance classes depend on the quality of submission and performance of work.

Both of acceptance classes can get a booth for April, 7-11.

Especially, ''Invited'' team can get a round trip flight ticket for Laval, accommodations and premiere reception ticket of Gala Dinner. The number of person may be limited (we expect 2 person per a team).

NOTE: In any case, Laval Virtual does not pay for any transportation cost and insurances (we don't recommend to send your materials by transporter but if you need, please prepare them yourself with own risk).

Should we register to other sessions like VRIC, Awards ?

Yes, if you have any interest to join it. Laval Virtual is constructed with exposition, international academic conference (VRIC), awards and other events. Each sessions and events are linked but not automatically because of the jurying policy and committees are not same. Then if you have any interest to join or challenge to other sessions, you should register now. Especially, accepted ReVolution projects have a chance to get awards.
